Northeast of Houston are the communities of Kingwood*, Atascocita, and Crosby. For those who like being on or near a lake, Lake Houston may be the answer for you! Atascocita is a community in unincorporated Harris County right on the shores of Lake Houston. Beautiful homes in a scenic, wooded environment give Atascocita the aura of city, rural, and lakeside living combined. Crosby is another unincorporated area of Harris County, just east of Atascocita.
Settled in the early 1820’s, Crosby is a small community of about 1,700 people today.
The area Northeast of Houston is readily accessible by US 59/I-69, FM 1960, and US 90. Commuting into Houston is easy, and many choose to live in the area because of its natural beauty and small-town ambience.
Homes in the area are available in all price ranges. There are also farms and homes with acreage available, particularly in Crosby.
